Celebrating the city's rich history through more than 30 unique events, this immersive 10-day festival invites history lovers, curious explorers and families alike to experience Ipswich's heritage in fresh, interactive and unforgettable ways.
Ever wondered what lies behind the doors of some of Ipswich's grandest historic homes? Exclusive Great Places of Ipswich tours offer a rare opportunity to step inside two private heritage-listed residences, revealing stunning architecture, captivating stories and beautifully preserved interiors rarely seen by the public.
For those inspired by heritage homes and timeless design, the Queens Park Pavilion will host an exciting series of workshops and talks exploring Queenslander restoration, heritage architecture and the people and events that have helped shape Ipswich over the decades.
Visitors can also deepen their connection to Country through Storyline Art and Yarning - Finding Home on Country, a meaningful Nhuralama creative workshop that celebrates Indigenous storytelling, culture and place.
Take a scenic journey beyond the city with The Marburg Meander, where country charm meets vintage nostalgia in a delightful 1940s-inspired day out.
