Calling all opera lovers! Experience an unforgettable evening of soaring vocals and timeless classics when There's Nothing Like a Dame comes to the Redland Performing Arts Centre on 20 August, before taking to the stage at the Opera Queensland Studio in South Bank on 21 and 22 August.

Part of Opera Queensland's intimate Studio Series, this recital stars acclaimed soprano Alexandra Flood in a heartfelt tribute to one of Australia's greatest operatic legends, Dame Joan Sutherland.

Renowned for her radiant soprano voice and captivating stage presence, Alexandra will be joined by flutist Jonathan Hendersen and pianist Vatche Jambazian, for an evening that honours the artistry of Dame Joan Sutherland.

Experience arias and works made famous by Sutherland, from the drama of Hamlet and Dinorah to the elegance of Ravel, Delibes, Händel and Bach, this performance promises moments of pure virtuosity.
