Peaks To Points Festival 2026
Updated: Jun 03, 2026
Nature lovers, families and outdoor enthusiasts are set to reconnect with the great outdoors with the return of this year's Peaks to Point Festival from Saturday July 25 to Sunday August 9.
Spanning Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and Redlands, the much-loved community festival is expected to feature more than 50 nature-inspired events designed to encourage people to explore their local environment and discover the incredible conservation groups, activities and green spaces right in their own neighbourhoods.
From guided walks and birdwatching adventures to hands-on planting sessions and creative workshops, the two-week festival offers something for all ages and interests - with most events free to attend.
Festival-goers can look forward to experiences including platypus walks and talks, spotlighting adventures, verge garden workshops, kids’ nature-themed costume making and even a tour through the Greenbank Military Area. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get involved in environmental initiatives through community planting and weeding activities.
The festival continues to grow thanks to the support of environmental groups, community organisations and government partners, cementing its place as a fixture on the South East Queensland environmental events calendar.
Originally launched as the Oxley Creek Water Festival, the event expanded in 2007 into the larger Peaks to Points Festival, stretching across the southside of the Brisbane River and beyond. Today, it has become one of the region’s leading environmental celebrations, inspiring locals to connect with nature while supporting their own wellbeing.
