On the Green 2026

Clayfield College

Updated: Jun 23, 2026

Looking for the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon? On the Green at Clayfield College is returning on Sunday, August 2, bringing together live music, delicious food and family-friendly fun at one of Brisbane’s most-loved community events.

Ben Lee

Running from 12pm to 4pm, the much-anticipated event will be headlined by iconic Australian singer-songwriter Ben Lee, who will take to the stage alongside his alter ego DJ Dad Bod, the Clayfield College Big Band and the Brisbane City Big Band for an afternoon packed with entertainment.

Gather your family and friends, roll out a picnic rug on the Main Oval and soak up the vibrant atmosphere as live music fills the air.

Food truck

When it comes to food, On the Green has you covered. Feast on wood-fired pizzas from Briz Wood Fired Pizza, tacos from SoCal Tacos, sweet treats from House of Poffertjes and drinks from Aether Beer Bar, New Tricks Gin Distillery Bar, Coffee Royal Van and a range of other local vendors.

Group smiling

Tickets start from $25 for children and $40 for adults, with family passes also available. Last year's event sold out, so securing your tickets early is highly recommended.

Need to know: This is a fully licensed event, BYO alcohol is not permitted.
