Brisbane Open House 2026

Brisbane Open House returns with one of its most ambitious programs, inviting locals to explore 93 buildings across Greater Brisbane, including a record 16 private homes on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2026.
This year’s line-up features more than 30 new additions, offering rare access to some of Brisbane’s most exciting spaces.
Highlights include The Glasshouse Theatre at QPAC, commercial towers 205 North Quay, 360 Queen Street and 443 Queen Street, a preview of a new lab at the Translational Research Institute, the National Rugby Training Centre at Ballymore, and a chance to walk through The Gabba before its future redevelopment.
Popular favourites such as Brisbane City Hall, Government House, Parliament House, Brisbane Airport, Port of Brisbane, ABC, Roma Street Fire Station, and Old Government House also return.
Architecture and design lovers can step inside extraordinary homes including Balmoral Hillside House, six Torbreck Apartments and the iconic Eisenmenger House.
The program also features guided walks, talks, workshops, Ask an Architect sessions, an urban sketching experience and a behind-the-scenes UAP Foundry Tour. Visitors can also enter a ballot for the highly sought-after opportunity to descend 30 metres underground into a Cross River Rail station under construction.
