The Degustation Train

All aboard the Degustation Train - a premium heritage rail experience that pairs the nostalgic charm of steam travel with a high-end menu by celebrated chef Matt Golinski, on Friday August 14.

The evening begins with a red-carpet welcome and live music on the platform at Gympie Station, with guests encouraged to embrace a "dress to impress" dress code for a night of old-world elegance.

Upon departure from the historic station, the vintage train heads off for an unforgettable trip through the beautiful Mary Valley as the landscape transforms under the golden hues of sunset.

The journey provides a scenic backdrop for a series of curated tasting plates, each designed by Golinski to showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the surrounding region.

The culinary narrative continues with a refined tasting of local wines and cheeses, specifically paired to highlight the flavours of the area.
