Notorious Sailing Ship

Scarborough

Updated: Jul 06, 2026

Notorious is a full-size replica 15th century wooden Portuguese caravel (sailing ship) sailing into the Redcliffe peninsula where it will be moored at the Scarborough Public Jetty from July 10-12, 2026.

Notorious Sailing Ship docked at Manly

Young pirates and those who want to get a taste of the olden days of sailing the high seas, can climb aboard and explore the Australian-built, full size ship, the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

Don't miss your chance to view the ship before it sails away from Moreton Bay at the end of the weekend!

Need to know -  Children must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult. Footwear and weather protection advised. Cash or card welcome - there is no pre-booking available.
