WOLF by Circa
Redland Performing Arts Centre
Updated: Aug 18, 2026
Get ready for a circus experience with serious bite as internationally acclaimed Circa brings WOLF to Redland Performing Arts Centre for one unforgettable night on Friday 25 September.
Raw, wild and utterly breathtaking, WOLF by Circa is a gasp-inducing contemporary circus spectacle that pushes the limits of human strength, trust and physicality.
Ten extraordinary performers take to the stage in designer Libby McDonnell’s form-fitting costumes, grasping, climbing, leaping, balancing and tearing through a mesmerising display of acrobatics. Inspired by the wolf as a symbol of our untamed selves, the performance moves from chaos to connection as the performers form a powerful pack driven by instinct, survival and trust.
Adding to the intensity is DJ Ori Lichtik’s relentless primal soundtrack, which pulses beneath striking choreography from Circa’s artistic director Yaron Lifschitz and the Circa Ensemble. The result is a visceral performance that feels less like traditional circus and more like being dropped straight into the wild.
Fresh from acclaimed seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe and Prague’s Letní Letná Festival, WOLF has already been earning rave reviews, with The Conversation calling it “brimming with primal power and acrobatic precision” and The Guardian describing it as “wildly entertaining.”
Now, the pack is heading to Brisbane for one night only.
WOLF by Circa takes over Redland Performing Arts Centre on Friday 25 September at 7.30pm, promising an electrifying night of jaw-dropping acrobatics, pounding rhythms and raw physical theatre.
