THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE.Bright Nights by ANZ will transform the Brisbane River into a dazzling, choreographed canvas of water, light, and sound for Brisbane Festival from September 4 to 26.
Floating fountains, waterscreens, amazing animated water features and water jets shooting up to 80 meters high, all pierced by a stunning laser light show, this bold installation fills the Festival Village precinct with colour, energy and emotion.
The work pulses with a distinctly local energy, amplifying the spectacle’s emotional resonance and contemporary edge. It features an exclusive soundtrack from Brisbane music royalty The Veronicas.
Commencing with a Welcome to Country and placemaking audio story told by Traditional Owner Yuggera and Turrbal man Shannon Ruska, Bright Nights by ANZ will be a nightly celebration and reflection upon Brisbane and its landmark River.
