Better Off Red
Brisbane Powerhouse
Updated: Jul 16, 2026
One of Brisbane's most exciting new long lunches is arriving for one day only this August, as Better Off Red transforms Brisbane Powerhouse into a spectacular celebration of bold flavours, fine wine and unforgettable entertainment.
Presented as part of Night Feast, the exclusive experience takes over the Performance Lawn on Sunday, August 16, bringing together award-winning restaurants Bosco and Blackbird for an indulgent afternoon where food, art and performance collide.
Crafted by Bosco’s Head Chef Mimmo Miceli and Blackbird Executive Chef Jake Nicholson, the shared menu is centred around fire-led cooking and generous seasonal produce.
Guests can expect dishes including jamón serrano with fire-roasted peppers and migas, grilled tiger prawns with romesco and chorizo glazed in hard cider, Angus rib eye carved from the bone with red wine jus, and wood-barbecued cumin-spiced spring lamb served with quince and mint.
Premium D'Arenberg wines will flow throughout the afternoon, perfectly paired with every course as live performances and theatrical surprises unfold around the long table, creating a feast for every sense.
With its striking crimson theme, exceptional food and immersive entertainment, Better Off Red promises to be one of Brisbane's most sought-after dining events of the season.
