Rock on Ice

Get ready to rock around the rink as brand-new family spectacular Rock on Ice makes its debut at Paradise Resort Gold Coast’s Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink on Friday 18 September 2026, combining world-class ice skating, aerial acrobatics and legendary rock anthems in a high-energy live show.

Created and directed by Paradise Resort’s Entertainment Manager Vinnie Borges, with choreography by Danielle Spencer, the 45-minute production will take audiences on a musical journey through the history of rock - from the birth of rock and roll in the 1950s through to the anthems of today.

Expect powerful skating, dramatic choreography, dazzling lighting, theatrical costumes and gravity-defying aerial performances, all brought together in one action-packed show designed to entertain the whole family.

The production promises plenty of wow moments, with performers taking to the ice to bring legendary rock songs to life in a spectacular blend of music, movement and theatrical performance.

And you don’t need to be staying at the resort to experience it. Rock on Ice is open to the general public, giving locals and visitors another reason to head to the Gold Coast for a night of family-friendly entertainment.

The new show adds to Paradise Resort’s already impressive entertainment lineup, which includes its Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink, waterparks, live stage shows and daily kids’ activities.
