Supanova Comic Con & Gaming returns to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, bringing three massive days of fandom, technology, and pop culture, from Friday November 7 to Sunday November 9.

From onscreen heroes to the comics that inspire them, ‘Brisnova' is set to host some of the most influential names in the industry, led by the Eisner Award-winning former Creative Director of Marvel Comics and New York Times bestselling author, Jim Krueger, renowned for his work on iconic titles Earth X, Superman, Justice, and Avengers.

From the ‘Bad Wolf’ to the Witch and the Whitelighter, Charmed dream team Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause will return to Brisbane alongside another dynamic duo, as Jordan Elsass joins his previously announced Superman & Lois co-star Alex Garfin, known for their roles as the titular DC icons’ Supa-Star sons.

Headlining the Supa-Star lineup is Star Wars’ own John Boyega (Finn, Episodes VII–IX) alongside Cameron Monaghan (Jedi: Fallen Order, Gotham). They’re joined by Alex Garfin, iconic voice actors Nolan North (Uncharted), Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh), David Sobolov (One Piece), and Gregg Berger (Transformers). In addition, Attack of the Clones’ reformed death sticks dealer Matt Doran returns, rounding out the already Supa-Star-studded line-up from a galaxy far, far away.

Meanwhile, making a rare appearance outside of Japan, the original voice of Astro Boy, Mari Shimizu, will make her first-ever trip to Australia. Starring as ‘The Mighty Atom’ from his onscreen inception in 1963 through to the series’ 80s colour remake, anime aficionados won’t want to miss this unique chance to meet the “Mother of Voice Actors” and one of the founding performers of the medium!
