Vinnies

Located in the heritage-listed Foresters Hall on Latrobe Terrace, Vinnies Paddington is one of Brisbane's best op shops. 

Inside this well-preserved example of a small 19th century hall, Vinnies is not so much a vintage store as op shop where treasures are waiting to be unearthed - from tap shoes to evening gowns and original Levi's for instance. 

Otherwise, it’s laden from one end to the other with old crockery, wardrobes, seating, ornaments, jewellery and preloved clothing.

Take the narrow creaky steps from the entry vestibule up to the gallery overlooking the hall and here you'll find vintage fashion and dress ups including a small mercifully cheap stash for children including masks, pirate vests and so forth.
