The iconic King Street precinct will once again kick off Valley Fiesta on Friday, November 3, 2023, with live music, pop-up bars and street food-inspired tasting plates from just $8, at the King Street Food Fiesta.

Gather, feast, groove and enjoy the good vibes as King Street comes alive with a string of pop-up bars, street food stalls, outdoor music stages, and roaming entertainment from 5pm-9pm.

Take your taste buds on a world tour to the Amalfi Coast with Il Verde’s spritz pop-up bar, Mexico with El Camino’s flavour-packed range of nachos, Vietnam with Xin Chao’s famous bao buns, America with Supercombo’s tater tots and chicken wings, China with Fat Dumpling’s array of dumplings and seafood snacks, and Kuhl-Cher or Bar Gusto with their cheese and charcuterie or pasta selection.

King St’s latest arrival and new fan-favourite, Archie Brothers’ Cirque Electriq, will showcase a selection from their over-the-top American diner-style menu. Indulge in their Hawaiian, Pepperoni or Margarita pizzas for $20 and sip on Spiced Mojitos, or sample their other killer cocktails on offer.

Alongside the enticing eats, the street will come alive when a lineup of Brisbane’s best emerging artists perform live on the outdoor stages. With a focus on music, culture and community, this year King St welcomes the talented Taitu’uga - Talking High Chief for his Samoan village and artist who creates and weaves culture through his fresh fusion of electronic dance music (EDM), hip hop, reggae, beatbox loop machine and traditional instruments.

Following suit will be Australian and Maori vocalist, Kuzco, with her unique sound inspired by her musical heritage, as well as up-and-coming alt-pop artist Lucy Korts, who is no stranger to the stage (small or large).

In addition to this, curators of Brisbane’s best festival and street entertainment, Oscar Pro Co, will showcase a variety of interactive talk-factor artists to truly enliven the street once night falls, so be on the lookout for the unexpected.
