Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy an action-packed schedule of events, including roving entertainment, kids’ rides, food stalls and an array of wonderful prestige, vintage, unique and collector vehicles, as well as the latest in vehicle and transport technology.

Marque with cars at RACQ Motorfest

Each year, RACQ MotorFest has a feature marque and this year, the spotlight is on a true automotive titan, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz.

While the iconic brand was officially forged in 1926 through the merger of pioneers Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, the celebration also tips its hat to the 140th anniversary of the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen - widely considered the world’s very first car.

MotorFest attendees can trace a century of prestige, from that original "gas engine" patent to the cutting-edge safety innovations Mercedes-Benz pioneered, including the crumple zone and ABS. It’s a rare chance to witness the evolution of the "three-pointed star" and the engineering excellence that redefined modern transport.

The other must-visit is the Future Zone, a dedicated hub for those looking to ditch the petrol pump for a more sustainable ride. With fuel prices on the rise, this is your chance to get behind the wheel and test drive the latest hybrid and electric models to see how they handle. You’ll also find experts on hand to demystify EV charging infrastructure and walk you through the cutting-edge tech that's redefining how Queenslanders move.
