Margate

Updated: Mar 17, 2026

Jumping Goats Bar is the first small bar to open in the charming bayside suburb of Margate on the Redcliffe peninsula.

Offering a laidback vibe in keeping with its seaside location, Jumping Goats is a welcome addition to this sleepy English-style neighbourhood.

The bar is both dog and family-friendly and it is worth mentioning that patrons are most welcome to bring their own snacks, or order takeaway/delivery from the local Thai, Chinese and pizza shops to help wash down a beer or two.
