Halloween Spooktacular

Little monsters, get your costumes ready! Westfield Chermside is throwing a Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 31, with trick-or-treating, a spooky disco, free face painting and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Taking over the shopping centre for an afternoon of Halloween festivities, the event will see little ghouls and goblins collecting sweet treats, dancing to their favourite tunes and getting into the spooky spirit.

From 2pm to 4pm, kids can hit the Trick or Treat Trail, winding their way through the centre to collect candy from 20 participating stores. Maps and candy pails can be collected from the booth near Glassons, so little trick-or-treaters can set off on their sweet adventure. The trail is exclusive to Westfield members, with membership available through the Westfield app. Just keep in mind that treats are available while stocks last.

Once the candy haul is sorted, the Halloween fun continues under The Dome, where the Spooky Disco will run from 3pm to 6pm. Expect a DJ spinning crowd-pleasing tunes, roaming circus performers and free face painting, with plenty of spooky designs to choose from.

Whether the little ones arrive as witches, superheroes, skeletons or their favourite creepy characters, costumes are encouraged, so go all out with the Halloween dress-ups.
