After selling out every live show from 2022 to 2025, Guy Montgomery's Spelling Bee is back to test the limits of spelling – and just how far audiences are willing to go to watch people struggle with words under pressure.

Brisbane holds a special place in Guy's heart, having been home to some of his favourite words, people and venues. So naturally, bringing them all together for another round of spelling chaos was too good to resist.

Taking their rightful place under the bright lights of the stage and the maniacal glare of Guy Montgomery will be a line-up of four all-star spellers, each attempting to prove they're better at spelling than their three competitors.

Meanwhile, the audience gets to sit back and judge their every move - while feeling almost certainly more intelligent than the contestants.

Expect unexpected twists, plenty of laughs and some seriously questionable spelling decisions. Whether you're a spelling whiz or someone who still second-guesses 'necessary', this is one competition where being in the audience is half the fun.
