Dragon Call Festival

Woodford

Updated: Aug 13, 2026

Dragon Call is a unique weekend fantasy festival, where attendees can participate in real-life quests and role-playing games in the stunning surrounds of Woodford, from August 22 to 23.

On offer are solo exploration and quests, immersive group challenges and social roleplay with non-player characters (NPCs), with no previous experience required.

Whilst there, you'll get to search for clues and hidden treasure, and be immersed in unfolding storylines shaped by your choices and the roll of the dice.

In keeping with the theme, the onsite Crossroads Tavern will be the place to feast and share cider, mead or ale with fellow adventurers, whilst being entertained by travelling bards. Costumes are encouraged!

Good to know - As well as onsite camping, a limited amount of glamping tents are available. Whilst the Crossroads Tavern is fully licenced, campers are welcome to BYO alcohol (to drink responsibly at the campsite).

Need to know - Tickets are selling fast, so if you plan to attend, get booking!
