Joined by pianist Sarka Budinska-Boxall and directed by Emma Nightingale, the young performers will take to the stage for a varied program of solo and ensemble works.
The Opera Queensland Young Artist Program has been nurturing the next generation of Australian opera talent for more than 35 years, giving emerging performers the chance to develop their craft and perform at the highest standards.
2026 was a significant year for the Young Artists, who engaged in a broad range of events and performance opportunities. Among the highlights was all starring in or creatively contributing to Opera Queensland's Rusalka. Beyond the theatre, Elizabeth Cooper, Aylish Ryan and Madeleine Stephens also performed at the Festival of Outback Opera in May alongside All Together Now! director Emma Nightingale.
If you’ve been meaning to catch an opera performance, Viva La Voce is the best place to start - intimate, celebratory and packed with artists on the precipice of very exciting careers. Don’t miss Brisbane’s next generation of opera stars in action.
