Calling all car lovers! One of the world's most impressive private collections of classic and prestige vehicles is cruising into Brisbane for a limited five-day showcase. Taking over the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 12–16 August, Palmer Motorama will feature more than 200 extraordinary vehicles from Clive Palmer's internationally renowned collection.
Worth millions of dollars, the collection celebrates more than a century of automotive innovation, engineering and craftsmanship, with legendary marques including Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Bentley, Jaguar and Porsche, alongside historically significant vehicles from Citroën, Horch, Austin, Stanley and more.
Among the highlights are some truly extraordinary automotive treasures, including the 1911 Rolls-Royce 40/50hp Silver Ghost Roi Des Belges Tourer, the regal 1954 Rolls-Royce Phantom IV Limousine built for Princess Margaret, the incredibly rare 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Aravis Special Cabriolet - one of just two supercharged examples ever built—and the elegant 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet B, widely regarded as one of the most desirable luxury cars of its era.
The exhibition also offers an exclusive preview of Palmer's vision for Australia's largest automotive museum, planned for west of Brisbane. Once complete, the museum will house more than 1,000 cars and 300 motorcycles, making it one of the country's most significant motoring attractions.
Open daily from 10am to 10pm, the Brisbane Concours Display is a fantastic day out for families, collectors and anyone with an appreciation for automotive history. Better still, children under 14 receive free entry when accompanied by a paying adult—making this rare exhibition one you won't want to miss.
