Taking over the South Bank Cultural Forecourt, the vibrant markets showcase First Nations art, fashion, bushfoods, handmade creations and contemporary design, giving visitors the chance to connect with the talented artists and makers behind each piece.

More than just a market, the GATHAA First Nations Markets celebrate creativity and connection to Country through a welcoming program of shopping, storytelling and cultural experiences. Across the weekend, visitors can also enjoy free workshops and demonstrations, including native floral arranging with Blak Botanics, Bushfood Cooking on Coals with Aunty Dale Chapman and Chris Jordan, and traditional weaving with Carly Wallace and Brian Whap.
