Bistro Tino
Fortitude Valley
Updated: Jul 01, 2026
Bistro Tino is a chic cafe bistro occupying an old war igloo in Fortitude Valley and nestled next door to Mosconi Italian restaurant and bar by the same owners.
Both a coffee/breakfast bar and wine bar under one curved roof, Tino is open for walk-ins, regulars and those in the know for a standing espresso at the bar or table for lunch.
The 2- level interior features a two-toned palette of classic clotted cream and nostalgic mission brown, with stained wood finishes and herringbone parquetry throughout.
The handmade Tasmanian oak bar is accented by bronzed brass details and rich ochre leather upholstered banquette seating, whihc is crafted by local makers and artisans.
The all-day menu is expertly punctuated by the richness and warmth of European home-style cooking. Breakfast dishes include potato and zucchini frittata with blue swimmer crab and crème fraiche or Abruzzese ham with house pickles, soft egg, Comté and seeded bread, countered by fried brioche with honey ricotta and balsamic strawberries.
From midday, be treated to lunch dishes such as simmered pastina minestrone and panzanella with yesterday’s bread, cucumber, tomato vinaigrette.
Need to know - Bistro Tino will open from 6:30am – 2:30pm, 7 days a week from July 1, with plans to extend trading into the evening by spring.
