Dutton Park

Zmirk is a funky cafe in Dutton Park, serving up standout eats and a creative menu of unique drinks.
Located on busy Annerley Road where a fish shop and cafe occupied the space for many years, the cafe is abuzz with locals catching up over breakfast or stopping by on their morning walks for a matcha.
The talented owners are constantly reinventing classic breakfast dishes into inventive, modern creations, often adding Asian-inspired twists that make their menu truly unique. Made fresh using quality local ingredients, it’s the perfect spot to stop by for a standout breakfast that’s full of flavour and unexpected delights.
With a modern interior and open-plan kitchen, you can watch the team prepare your drinks while people-watching through the large glass windows. It’s an ideal spot to soak up some vitamin D and enjoy a great meal.
A standout on the brunch menu, the Fiesta Corn Fritters feature golden, crispy corn fritters layered with creamy avo, fresh house-made salsa, a perfectly poached egg, vibrant greens, and a generous finish of parmesan.
A true local favourite (and one that’s often hard to get right) is the Zmirk Benny. Think crispy flatbread topped with sauteed spinach, two perfectly poached eggs, a well-balanced hollandaise that isn’t overly sweet, finished with crispy kale and a dusting of paprika.
Looking for a great toastie? Stop by for one of their Sriracha Melts, packed with house-made tuna salad, sriracha mayo, onion, celery, and a blend of melted cheeses on buttery, golden toasted bread. The portions are generous, so be sure to save room. It’s also worth trying their Old School Melt, featuring premium smoky leg ham and melted cheese on perfectly toasted bread.
The drink lineup at ZmirK is a winner. While they serve a stellar coffee, the real draw is their extensive range of alternative drinks for those keen to try something different. Matcha lovers should not miss the tiramisu matcha - made with ceremonial-grade matcha and easily one of the best in Brisbane. For something more nostalgic, there’s their strawberry milk with a twist, crafted using house-made strawberry puree. If you’re after something refreshing, the cult-favourite espresso lemon tonic delivers an iced long black with tonic water and a twist of lemon.
With plenty of shaded outdoor seating areas, it's also the perfect spot to bring your four-legged friends!
