Get into the Christmas spirit in the historic city of Ipswich with heaps of fun festive events for all ages, from finding Santa to Christmas markets, outdoor cinema and carols in the park to fireworks over the river:

Finding Santa - Santa and his helpers are hiding in Ipswich- can you find them all? Finding Santa is an interactive augmented reality trail  where you can catch a glimpse of Rudolph waiting for a bus, watch as Dasher and his mates graze and – if you’ve been good this year – you might even see Santa getting your present ready.

Christmas Wonderland - Celebrate the festive season with family and friends at Christmas Wonderland. This magical lighting display is back and on a much grander scale, treating visitors to a wonderland of glittering lights, illuminated trees, animated displays, light tunnels and projections that will mesmerise and delight. Each night from 6pm, enjoy a magical Christmas market with delicious bites to eat from food trucks, roving carollers and more.

Christmas Fireworks

Riverlink’s four-night celebration of Christmas festivities and fireworks kicks off on Thursday 19 December. Arrive early to experience Christmas carols and roving entertainment. Located outside iPlay Riverlink, snow will magically fall as carollers delight the whole family with a mix of traditional and modern carols.

Christmas Lights Bus Tour - View a selection of the stunning light and decoration displays of the annual Ipswich Christmas Lights Competition from the air-conditioned comfort of Premier Transport.

Christmas Carols Robelle Domain

Christmas Carols at Robelle Domain (Dec 7) - Featuring performances by Tim McCallum, Barefoot Brass, Prestige Dance Centre, Paris Morgan, Rebekah Qleibo, Brittany Luhrs, Lesila and Noa Tupou and Lachlan Luhrs, the popular concert commences at 6.15pm, with two large video screens to ensure everyone has the best seat in the house. Santa Claus himself will arrive at 7.00 pm and fireworks will provide a spectacular finale.

Where's Toti? - (Until Dec 21) - Join the fun at Top of Town, Brisbane Street this festive season and find TOTI the elf! Adventure through the cafes, retailers and participating businesses – search the store windows and try to catch a glimpse of TOTI the elf.

Museum Twilight Markets (Dec 13) - Combining South East Queensland’s best handmade markets, food trucks, live music, kid's activities, Museum Torchlight Tours and onsite bar, the Museum Twilight Markets is a great night out for the whole family. 5-9pm.

Redbank Plains Outdoor Christmas Cinema (Dec 13) - Multicultural Australia's Redbank Plains Community Centre is hosting a free screening of Home Alone together with Twilight Flicks Outdoor Cinemas. Free food and drink provided. 5.30-9.30pm.
