Santa on Tour -This year Santa and his helpers are taking Christmas to the suburbs to help spread the Christmas cheer. A socially distanced Santa, performers and characters will be popping up around Ipswich, in a big blue double decker bus that will be cruising Christmas lights locations and making surprise stops along the way.
Christmas Wonderland - Celebrate the festive season with family and friends at Christmas Wonderland. This magical lighting display is back with a COVID safe plan, treating visitors to a wonderland of glittering lights, illuminated trees, animated displays, light tunnels and projections that will mesmerise and delight. Colours of Ipswich - Celebrate the cultural diversity of Ipswich with this festival at The Tivoli Drive-In, featuring multicultural performances including a Scottish Piper and belly dancers, Santa Photos in Santa’s Cave, live carol performances by local musicians, markets, live bands and a free gift for each car, as well as fireworks and screening of Miracle of 34th Street. Christmas Lights Competition - Drive around the suburbs and see a selection of the stunning light and decoration displays of the annual Ipswich Christmas Lights Competition. Dec 1-31, 2020.
The Spirit of Christmas Concert - Join the Ipswich City Orchestras for a concert of traditional, classical and contemporary classical Christmas music, showcased from within the majestic surrounds of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Dec 5, 2020.
