Light Coffee in East Brisbane is a cool Scandi-chic coffee nook tucked away in the Lytton Rd shopping strip opposite Mowbray Park.
Low-hanging industrial light bulbs, a white tiled counter, dried flower arrangement on a retro school desk and black and white checkered floor give Light Coffee a fresh charming ambience, the perfect spot to enjoy a well-brewed coffee and one of the sweet treats on offer.
Light Coffee roast their own beans in-house and the result is one of the best coffees in Brisbane’s eastside, also available as Filter Coffee Hand Brew.
As well as coffee there’s Hot chocolate from The Smooth Chocolatier, Arakai Estate Tea (Spring Flush Green or Premier Black) and Soda (Hepburn Organic Coke or Lemonade).
Meanwhile, to eat there are Plain and Almond Croissants from artisan baker Danny’s Bread and Chocolate Slices and Choc Chip Cookies from Torta Bella.
Nice to know – Light Coffee has a range of coffee paraphernalia for sale.
Need to know – There’s a water bowl for dogs under cover at the front entry. A limited amount of free off-street parking is available out back.
