Happy Jane Cafe

Stafford

Updated: Jun 21, 2026

Happy Jane Cafe is located in a former taxi depot Stafford, serving up fresh, feel-good food made with local ingredients.

Set beside peaceful, leafy surrounds, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a good cup of coffee and enjoy a moment of calm in your day.

Seating Area of Happy Jane Cafe

Housed in a beautifully renovated warehouse and surrounded by lush indoor plants, the cafe blends modern character with a warm, natural feel that makes every visit instantly welcoming - thanks to the friendly, down-to-earth staff who make you feel right at home.

Hidden Nook in Happy Jane Cafe

The space is dotted with charming little nooks and quiet corners, each with its own cozy feel. Whether you’re looking to sink into a comfy spot with a good book, catch up with friends over a long coffee, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment to yourself, there’s always a welcoming place to settle in.

Green Shakshuka at Happy Jane Cafe

A standout on the menu, the green shakshuka comes served with a fluffy milk bun generously filled with a vibrant, chunky green spinach sauce. It’s packed with broccoli, capsicum and kale, then finished with fresh herbs, chilli and creamy feta, all paired with a side of warm, fresh sourdough.

Banana French Toast at Happy Jane Cafe

Got a sweet tooth? Their banana french toast is a must-have. Thick slices of banana bread are transformed into golden, indulgent French toast, topped with coconut sorbet, a zesty pineapple chilli jam, seasonal fresh fruit, and a sprinkle of toasted coconut.

Tacos at Happy Jane Cafe

They are also home to some of Brisbane’s best tacos, including their vibrant purple tacos. Served on soft corn tortillas, you can choose from chicken, pulled pork, or mushrooms, all topped with fresh salsa fresca, creamy avocado and a zesty verde mayo. The cafe also offers a selection of ever-rotating salads of the week, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Matcha at Happy Jane Cafe

Happy Jane Cafe features its own in-house matcha bar, serving up beautifully crafted matcha drinks. For something a little different, their pink dragon fruit and white chocolate matcha is a refreshing and indulgent choice that’s as visually striking as it is delicious.

Coffee at Happy Jane Cafe

Their coffee menu is equally impressive, offering expertly brewed classics alongside a rotating selection of seasonal specials. If you're looking to try something different, one standout is their specialty ginger cold brew; it's a refreshing and lightly spiced take on a classic coffee.

Event Space at Happy Jane Cafe

They also house a versatile event space, perfect if you’re looking to host a small gathering, workshop, or celebration. With its bright, plant-filled interior and welcoming atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to rent for an upcoming event.

Good to know - They host a variety of events, from social gatherings to community markets. Keep an eye on their social media for upcoming happenings; their fortnightly markets are especially popular and completely dog-friendly.

Need to know - Limited street parking is available nearby.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
