Coorparoo

Updated: Oct 13, 2026

Brisbane’s cinnamon scroll obsession has a new home, with market favourite Jane Scrolls opening its first permanent store in Coorparoo.

Known for its soft, fluffy dough, generous fillings and irresistible icing, the local favourite has gone from weekend market stall to its own bakery in less than a year.

Located on Old Cleveland Road, the new store has transformed a former butchery into a cosy spot with booth and counter seating, plus an open kitchen where you can watch the team work its magic.

And the best part? The scrolls are served warm, delivering that fresh-from-the-oven taste with every bite.

The current lineup features five scrolls, including the Classic Cinnamon with cream cheese icing, The Billionaire filled with Kinder Bueno and Oreo and topped with Biscoff cream cheese and cookie crumb, and Lemon Blueberry with lemon curd and stewed blueberries.

There’s also a Pecan Sticky Date with sticky toffee and roasted pecans, plus a savoury Vegemite and Cheese scroll topped with fresh pecorino.

There’s more than just scrolls on offer, too. The drinks menu features house-made chocolate milk, Single O cold brew on tap, signature matcha and a cinnamon scroll latte.

If you’re after something savoury, the focaccia lineup includes a breakfast sando, Golden Chicken and Whipped Fetta, making it easy to turn your scroll stop into a proper breakfast or lunch.

Founded by Hamish Pearce and Rebecca Ferguson, Jane Scrolls has quickly built a loyal Brisbane following, appearing at markets across the city. And now, locals can get their fix throughout the week without waiting for the next market.
