Shaun Tan's beloved children's book, The Lost Thing, has already been adapted into an award-winning film and now it's coming to life as a magical concert experience at Concert Hall, QPAC on June 10, 2023.

This family-friendly concert is the perfect introduction to QPAC's Concert Hall, with the help of acclaimed presenter and composer Paul Rissmann and Queensland's finest musicians as they bring the beloved story to life on stage for young audiences to enjoy.

The Lost Thing QPAC

The story follows a young boy who discovers a strange creature on the beach and tries to find its rightful home. Along with the enchanting narrative, the show also showcases classical music from Star Wars, Flight of the Bumblebee, Hungarian Dances, and more, demonstrating how composers can use an orchestra to create different feelings and sounds

If you've ever wanted to wow your children with a full symphony orchestra, this show is a must-see!

Need to know - Recommended for children aged 8 years & over.
