The Great Escape

Brisbane has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a real life mass breakout from notorious Boggo Road Gaol, in this mega immersive event organized by Escape Hunt.

Taking part in the foreboding gaol itself, over 9 days, some 3000 participants will be cast in the role of inmate, assigned to a cell and, together with up to 80 other prisoners, be given the mega task of plotting a mass escape.

Players will need to work together in teams to outsmart the system by piecing together clues and solving cryptic puzzles, in what will be a true ‘movie like’ experience.

This never to be repeated opportunity has been created by Brisbane Escape Hunt owners Giovanna and Paul in conjunction with Boggo Road Gaol so that Brisbane residents have a unique chance to get immersed in the gaol and its history before it closes for redevelopment in later 2015.

Need to know – This experience is ideal for groups of friends, families and corporate groups. *Suited for ages 12+ (Under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult). Sessions from 5pm are strictly for ages 15+
