kids indoor activities

In the event that rainy days set in and threaten household sanity there are plenty of standbys, all of which are worthy sunny day venues too.

In the case of art galleries children’s activities abound at the GOMA children’s art centre while museums are the other age old standby. Most libraries have kids reading corners, with the State Library sporting the fabulous sunken themed play area for the under 8s. Here too is one of the places where children can partake in art and craft.

Old-fashioned pastimes of bowling and skating still draw a crowd while for something cerebral, science based or interactive the Sciencentre is tops.

When through with all of the above pop along to Edsco and stock up on enough indoor educational pursuits to see out the arrival of the ark.
