Art On The Wild Side
Goma
Art on the Wild Side, the new leading interactive exhibition at GOMA’s Children’s Art Centre, offers children the chance to explore a wonderful and wild menagerie of animals.
Incorporating animation and interactive multimedia activities, Art on the Wild Side engages works such as photography, drawing and moving images from the Gallery’s Collection. Here children can also get to discover how both Australian and global contemporary artists use animals as a way of communication and to share ideas and experiences.
As part of the hands-on activities, there’s the multimedia interactive Persian for Kids, which affords the opportunity to create a zoomorphic image using Farsi script and The Call of the Wild, in which kids can have fun releasing animals back into their natural habitat in the wild.
