Morning Art Riser Tour – Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company

Ever wanted to experience QAGOMA before the doors open? QAGOMA’s Morning Art Riser Tour invites you to step inside the Brisbane-exclusive Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company exhibition before the gallery opens to the public.

Led by an experienced QAGOMA art guide, the one-hour exclusive tour takes you behind the scenes of the exhibition, exploring the characters, puppetry and imaginative worlds created by The Jim Henson Company over the past 70 years.

With surprises around every corner, you’ll discover the innovative puppetry that transformed beloved characters and stories into something truly extraordinary. You may even catch a glimpse of the gallery coming to life as the team prepares for the day ahead.

After the tour, settle in for a morning tea at GOMA Bistro, overlooking the Brisbane River, before having the chance to revisit the exhibition later that day and explore at your own pace.

The experience kicks off at 8.45am, with the tour commencing at 9am and wrapping up at 10am.

Recommended for ages 16+, bookings are essential and must be made at least seven days in advance.
