Whalebone

Can we save our stories when the robots arrive? And how can a whalebone help?  Find out these school holidays at Ipswich Art Gallery's magical show ‘Whalebone’, from April 3-5 and 10-14, 2023.

This richly visual theatrical experience by acclaimed performing artist Jens Altheimer will take kids and adults alike on a roller-coaster ride filled with eccentric contraptions, strange machinery and clunky inventions!

Perfect for kids aged 6–12 years, ‘Whalebone’ will inspire the minds of young creators, as well as everyone who loves stories, surprises and wonders, and leave audiences pondering what role technology plays in our lives and just what it is that makes us human.

There will be two sessions daily at 10:30am and 1:30pm from 3 – 6 April and from 10 – 14 April 2023.
