Retro Metro, one of Brisbane's best vintage and retro shops, lives underneath an old weather-beaten Queenslander in Paddington.

This shop is where you'll find something for every occasion - a source of groovy day wear perfect for barefoot bowls, a game of croquet or a ladies' luncheon, as well as the place to visit when a touch of glamour is called for – bow ties, smoking jackets, satin pumps, faux fur stoles, kaftans, chiffon gowns and beaded evening bags from the 20s to the 80s.

Scattered throughout are the best of 20th century gadgets and wares such as art deco ashtrays, 1970s German pottery lamps, martini glasses and fob watches, while some such as old vinyl records have been cleverly reincarnated as bowls.
