Brisbane City Hall
Updated: Feb 08, 2026
THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE.Queensland Brides Wedding Expo returns to the iconic Brisbane City Hall with a fabulous wedding planning experience that actually feels like a celebration on Sunday, 8 February 2026.
This is not the traditional “wander aisles and collect brochures” format, it is a unique event, and the only one in Brisbane to offer all of the following:
• A full professional runway show showcasing leading bridal designers
• A licensed bar pouring bubbles and beers throughout the day
• A hand-picked lineup of Queensland’s most sought-after wedding creatives
From the moment doors open, couples are welcomed into a vibrant, curated environment that looks and feels worlds apart from the standard expo model. The focus is on genuine connection, fresh ideas, and an enjoyable planning experience shared with partners, friends, or the whole bridal crew.
As Brisbane’s only expo to present a fully choreographed runway show, this year’s fashion presentation — directed by Pam Tamblyn — will spotlight designers and boutiques such as Erin Clare Bridal, Pearl Bridal, Gemma Leakey Bridal, The Blushery, Ivory & White, and Bridehouse Bulimba. Brides will see contemporary silhouettes and trends up close, while grooms take centre stage with sharp, modern menswear from House of Falcone and Mitchell Ogilvie.
Beyond fashion, attendees can enjoy style sessions with respected planners and stylists, live dance demonstrations by WeddingDance Diva, drinks from the bar, and the opportunity to browse the expo at their own pace. Set against the grandeur of City Hall, the atmosphere is relaxed, modern, and genuinely inspiring.
Since its first print edition in 1984, Queensland Brides has connected couples with the state’s top wedding professionals. The expo brings those magazine pages to life, offering an interactive setting to meet trusted vendors, explore styles, and gain practical insights from experts who shape real weddings across Queensland.
“We’re proud to deliver an expo that reflects the calibre and creativity of Queensland’s wedding industry,” says Queensland Brides Publisher Nikki Ernst. “Couples deserve an experience that is personal, purposeful, and enjoyable — and that is exactly what this event delivers.”
If couples attend only one wedding event to start or complete their 2026 planning, this is the one!
