Brisbane Oyster Farm Tours

Updated: Jan 02, 2026

Brisbane Oyster Farm Tours are an oyster-lovers dream -  departing Port of Brisbane via a short ferry ride to Moreton Bay for an incredible farm-to-plate oyster experience in the sea.

Boat in Moreton Bay

Here in the beautiful waters of Moreton Bay you'll discover firsthand how Queensland oysters are sustainably farmed, with second and third generation farmers as guides, making for a hands-on experience to be remembered.

Platter of oysters

Guesta are provided with waterproof waders for the experience, which includes a behind-the-scenes look at growing and farming oysters as well as a lesson on shucking 18 fresh-out-of-the-sea oysters per person.

From there you get to sit at white-clothed dining tables in the water and enjoy the just-shucked oysters as well as accompanying fresh prawns. Drinks are BYO, including alcoholic beverages.
