Updated: Mar 09, 2025

Experience the ultimate golfing adventure with Pterodactyl Helicopters in Brisbane's world-heritage listed backyard, the Scenic Rim.

Why drive when you can fly? Leave the car at home and fly between three of the Scenic Rims' best golf courses in your own private helicopter, taking in breathtaking views of spectacular mountain ranges, ancient landforms, and lush rainforests.

Scenic Rim Golf Adventure

Play a total of nine holes at three of your favourite award-winning golf courses in picturesque Scenic Rim, each featuring its own unique design and stunning views: Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley, Tamborine Mountain Golf Club, Canungra Golf Club, Boonah Golf Club and Beaudesert Golf Club.

Be transferred between golf courses by helicopter with a friendly pilot at your disposal. A golf pro will meet you upon landing and escort you to the top three holes at each course. You’ll be equipped with your own golf cart and caddie for the day too. All you need to bring is your A game.

The Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course, designed by renowned Scottish designer Desmond Muirhead, was recently named top Resort Golf Course. Its unique design, carved into a series of valleys, hills and lakes, provides plenty of elevation change and offers abundant wildlife with hundreds of kangaroos feeding on a daily basis.

Tamborine Mountain Golf Club, sitting 500 metres above sea level, overlooks the Gold Coast. This acclaimed 9-hole, 18 tee golf course is ideal to play any time of the year; always several degrees cooler with minimal humidity during the summer.

Opened in 1972, Canungra Golf Course has been designed to accommodate players of all skill levels with minimal bunkering and water hazards, yet still a challenging layout. It's predominantly flat but with a couple of elevated tees, tight in places with small couch greens to test approach accuracy.

Boonah Golf Club has two Par 3 holes which would take pride of place on any resort course. Both are attractive from the tee and strategically designed to demand accuracy and precise club selection.

Beaudesert Golf Club offers 18 holes on gently undulating land with tree-lined fairways and carefully maintained grass greens. A small creek flows through the course with a variety of creatures enjoying the natural habitat provided.

After challenging your handicap on the course, sit back and relax with a delicious lunch and glass of wine or beer at one of the Scenic Rim’s top courses and celebrate the shots of the day.
