Glider Park
Morayfield
Updated: Dec 19, 2025
Glider Park is a $3.5 million community space and one-hectare park, the first to open within Stockland's Kinma Valley masterplanned community in Morayfield.
The park’s design celebrates the region’s landscape and heritage, featuring natural materials, organic forms and public art that honour Kabi Kabi Country. Visitors can enjoy BBQ and picnic shelters, a half basketball court, a dry creek bed and kick-about lawn, all surrounded by native planting and shaded green spaces.
Every element of the park has been designed to spark curiosity and connection, from its nature-inspired play spaces to the storytelling woven through embedded throughout. The custom-built playground features a soaring slide with a curving tower that lets children ‘glide’ down like the creature itself. The eucalypt-patterned rubber softfall and tree-sap-inspired climbing grips – some embedded with tiny model insects to mimic amber – are designed to spark curiosity and imagination.
Good to know - Future milestones include the first stage of the Community Hub with a café, along with the full opening of the 34-home display village in 2026.
