Sandgate Art Society Creative Trail

Step inside local artists’ studios, discover one-of-a-kind artworks and explore Brisbane’s vibrant bayside arts scene at the Sandgate Art Society Creative Trail this October!

Over two weekends, the free self-guided trail will open the doors to more than 50 artists’ studios, galleries and creative spaces across Sandgate, Shorncliffe, Brighton, Deagon and Bracken Ridge, offering a unique chance to meet the artists who make the bayside such a creative community.

Meet painters, ceramicists, sculptors, printmakers, jewellers, textile artists, photographers and mixed media creatives as they open their studios, demonstrate their techniques and showcase original artworks for sale.

From charming backyard studios and heritage homes to vibrant collective exhibition spaces, each stop offers the chance to see the creative process up close and connect directly with local artists.

New for 2026, selected venues will also open for a Twilight Opening on Friday October 30 from 4pm–8pm, inviting visitors to enjoy an evening of art, conversation and community.

The trail is free to explore, with visitors able to collect a printed guide or download the Creative Trail app to plan their own self-guided arts adventure.
