QPSR's Twilight Santa Train, with heritage carriages hauled by historic diesel engines, is set to roll out of Swanbank Station on Saturday December 13.

Take a scenic trip back through Queensland's raliway history in beautifully restored vintage timber carriages, some of which date back to the early 1900s.

Depart from historic Swanbank Station (circa 1903) where you'll be greeted by Santa and a scene from an Aussie festive season of yesteryear.

As you travel along the historic rail line, you’ll take in picturesque landscapes, passing by historic coal mining sites, lush bushland, and the charming suburban scenery at the base of Castle Hill. Along the way, you’ll catch glimpses of horse-dotted fields and quaint miners' cottages.
