New Farm

Ground Alchemy is a specialty coffee cafe in New farm offering organic, plant-based fare along with vintage wares and potted plants.

The collaborative space is the braindchild of Britt Ayling, long-time purveyor of fine coffee, who has joined forces with 3 dynamic ladies: Dayna Wilson of PachaYuma providing wholesome food, Jodie Grier (Retro Gertie) offering a curated selection of vintage goods, and Gail Forrer, who brings specially selected air-purifying plants and pots to the Plantarium

The space, formerly occupied by Pablo Cafe, is warm and welcoming with seating provided inside the bright and airy cafe, and in the undercover courtyard surrounded by lush greenery.

The concise menu boasts a range of nourishing fare such as rose and cardamon granola served with coconut yoghurt, goji, dates, seeds, nuts and geranium essential oil; avo on housemade sprouted seeded bread; and wholesome salads like sweet potato and sprouted lentil with rocket, carrot ribbons, zuccchini noodls, broccoli and kale, and Thai rice noodle salad with red and white cabbage, carrot, snow peas, capsicum, coriander, mint and more.

In addition, there are wraps, paninis and pizza breads, plus a selection of raw treats and baked goodies - think croissants, danishes, muffins and slices - to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Coffee on pour is roasted locally by Black Lab with 2 blends (Platinum and Nitro) to choose from, served along with rotating single origins, cold drip, V60, pour-over, French press and batch-brew.

Besides coffee, there are organic teas, Crave dark chocolate, chai and matcha, and an array of superfood smoothies and juices designed to cleanse, energise and boost immunity.
