The Farm Shop Cafe

Scenic Rim

The Farm Shop Cafe is a delightful dining destination, just an hour's drive from Brisbane, nestled in the heart of the Scenic Rim.

The former rose farm has been transformed into the Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Cafe offering a range of farm fresh produce and artisan gourmet goods, along with locally roasted coffee and delicious eats.

Visitors can dine on the veranda of the Farm Shop or on the sprawling lawn beneath 100-year-old jacaranda trees.

The seasonal menu uses local ingredients to create wholesome breakfast and lunch fare. The former ranges from freshly baked croissants with whipped butter and homemade preserves or honey, to bacon and free-range egg muffins with cheese and house made relish, and Mediterranean baked eggs with double smoked bacon and sourdough.

Lunch options include fresh baguettes stuffed with double smoked ham or poached chicken, with cheese and salad; roast pumpkin salad with quinoa and feta; ginger-glazed pork and glass noodle salad with crispy shallots, chilli and peanuts; and coffee rubbed slow-cooked brisket served with seasonal slaw, herbed yoghurt and corn tortillas.

For something sweet, the cake cabinet is filled with a delectable selection of house baked treats such as chocolate beetroot brownies, carrot cake, and yoghurt & honey cake made with Scenic Rim 4Real yoghurt and local honey.

Drinks wise, there's well-brewed coffee, loose leaf tea, chai latte, hot chocolate, milkshakes, frappes, and cold pressed juices.

After dining, pop inside the Farm Shop to pick up some fresh fruit and veggies, and take the time to visit Elderflower Farm’s on-site garden shop selling fresh cut flowers (grown on site) and beautiful giftware for the home and garden.
