Patina Bar at Alumni Court

Annexed to UQ's stunning new contemporary restaurant Patina at Alumni Court, is a charming al fresco garden bar that serves breakfast-to-go and coffee in the mornings and drinks and bar snacks in the evenings.

Framed by the historic pink sandstone arches of Great Court, a mini rainforest and the refurbished 1970s building occupied by the restaurant, here is one of UQ's most picture perfect spots to start the day with a coffee and delicious bite to eat. On offer are Tasmanian smoked salmon, maple glazed bacon or scrambled egg brioche as well as free range pork sausage roll or cheese and vegetable frittata.  

Come sundown Patina is the perfect spot for an end-of-day glass of wine, beer or bespoke cocktail, with a list that includes Elderflower Gimlet, Mr Black Espresso Martini, AC Negroni or the fragrant Jacaranda (ink gin, simple syrup, citrus and mint).

To accompany there are gourmet bar snacks from the restaurant's kitchen such as steamed duck buns, arancini, barramundi tacos and tempura pumpkin flowers.
