SPARK Ipswich Arts Festival returns this winter, transforming the city into a vibrant festival playground, showcasing local talent, interactive art and hands-on creative opportunities from July 8 to 12.
This is an invitation to explore, discover and experience art in all its forms!
From signature festival sites like Creative Hub, Little Day Out and World of Music Ipswich (WOMI), to independently produced events proudly presented as part of the program, SPARK Ipswich offers installations, performances, exhibitions, workshops and family friendly moments that will SPARK Your Curiosity.
This year’s program spans the city, spotlighting the best local talent in music, visual arts, performance and more. Here are the SPARK Ipswich highlights you don’t want to miss:
Creative Hub – be immersed in Amigo&Amigo’s Musical Mind, a glowing playground of light and sound, alongside a day and night program of performances, workshops, interactive installations, and nightly projections that invite curiosity and play.
World of Music Ipswich (WOMI) - high-energy outdoor celebration guaranteed to get you dancing
Little Day Out - for the littlest festivalgoers. Think live music, creative workshops, roving performers and delicious bites from local food trucks.
Fever presents Candlelight concerts – your first chance to experience this multi-sensory musical experience in the awe-inspiring St Mary’s Catholic Church.
IAG x MONO – Boundary-Pushing Sound - a bold late-night collaboration from Ipswich Art Gallery and the Institute of Modern Art.
