Day Tripping In Logan

South of Brisbane and a short detour off the Pacific Motorway, the city of Logan is a convenient and relatively undiscovered destination for day trippers and tourists.

Yet for those with a sense of adventure there’s plenty of great things, from temples to historic villages, parks to cafes and bush tea rooms, koalas, art galleries and multicultural markets to explore.

Here’s a sample of the many gems buried within the realms of Logan city’s many interconnected villages, with plenty to fill a day if you know where to look:

10 Great Cafes

Start the day with breakfast at the Berlin Bistro in the small hamlet of Waterford or The Pantry HQ in Springwood, enjoy a coffee from Italian roastery cafe Simply Beans, take Devonshire Tea or High Tea in a bush setting at Devon Pixies and feast on some traditional NZ food at Grandma’s Kiwi Kitchen...more
