Cheeky, loud, Black and proud, Deadly Funny is bringing a night of deadly laughs, yarns and emerging First Nations talent to QPAC on November 7, 2026.
For two decades, Deadly Funny has been uncovering some of the freshest and funniest comedians and storytellers from the oldest living culture on Earth - and now, it’s Brisbane’s turn.
Get ready for a hilarious night of big laughs and even bigger stories as a new generation of First Nations comedians and storytellers take to the stage, sharing their unique perspectives, sharp wit and plenty of yarns along the way.
The long-running comedy competition and showcase has helped launch the careers of some of Australia’s favourite First Nations performers, including Steph Tisdell, Kevin Kropinyeri, Andy Saunders, Shiralee Hood, Dane Simpson, Elaine Crombie and Sean Choolburra, who have featured as participants and mentors over the years.
Now, the next wave of emerging voices is ready to make its mark.
Whether you’re a longtime comedy fan or simply looking for a night out with your mates, expect plenty of laughs, big personalities and stories you won’t hear anywhere else.
