Cinematic: The Wonder of Animation

Calling all Disney, Pixar and animated movie fans! Get ready for a nostalgic night out as Queensland Symphony Orchestra brings some of the most beloved animated movie soundtracks of all time to life at Cinematic: The Wonder of Animation at QPAC this October!

From the sweeping sounds of The Lion King and the icy magic of Frozen to the adventure of How to Train Your Dragon and the laughs of Shrek, this spectacular concert will take audiences on a musical journey through the animated films that have shaped generations.

You’ll hear iconic music from Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, The Simpsons and more, performed live by the incredible Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Leading the orchestra is film-music maestro Nicholas Buc, while QSO’s musicians will add to the fun by performing in colourful costumes. Kids and grown-ups are encouraged to dress up too, making this a concert experience the whole family can get involved in.

Whether you’re introducing your little ones to much-loved animated classics or reliving your own childhood favourites, Cinematic: The Wonder of Animation promises an evening of nostalgia, adventure, music and heart.
