SweetLeaf & LuLou

Brisbane City

Updated: Aug 18, 2026

Brisbane CBD workers are set to get two new dining options, with SweetLeaf and LuLou opening at 70 Eagle Street later this year.

Part of Brisbane hospitality group HomeTeam, the two venues will offer very different ways to eat, drink and unwind in the heart of the city.

Designed with busy weekdays in mind, SweetLeaf will serve freshly prepared meals with a focus on convenience. Diners will be able to pre-order through the SweetLeaf app, choose a pickup time and collect their lunch when it’s ready — perfect for fitting a meal in between meetings or grabbing something on the go. There’ll also be a communal dining space for those who have time to sit down and escape the desk.

Meanwhile, LuLou will be an all-day destination, designed to take diners from morning coffee through to lunch and afternoon drinks. The relaxed venue will cater to everything from quick coffee meetings and client catch-ups to long lunches and leisurely afternoons.

Both spaces have been designed by Brisbane studio ALKOT alongside Lowry Group, with a focus on polished yet practical interiors that suit everything from a quick visit to a longer stay.

Keep an eye out for more details coming soon!
