Jan Powers Farmers Markets - Eagle Farm

Ascot

Updated: May 13, 2026

Brisbane’s beloved Jan Powers Farmers Markets has officially expanded to Eagle Farm, with a new Sunday market bringing fresh produce, gourmet eats, artisan stalls and family-friendly vibes to the iconic Eagle Farm Racecourse each week.

Stalls at market

Open from 7am to 1pm every Sunday, with free entry, the market brings Jan Powers’ signature, carefully curated mix of farm-fresh produce, coffee, flowers, hot and cold food, bakery goods, plants and artisan products to Brisbane’s inner north, offering a premium weekly food experience in one of the city’s most historic venues.

Designed as a welcoming weekly gathering point for inner-north locals and families, the Eagle Farm market features live music, wide open spaces and a relaxed Sunday atmosphere, while maintaining the high standards and producer-first ethos for which Jan Powers Farmers Markets are known.

Long recognised as a pioneer of Brisbane’s farmers market movement, the late Jan Power spent more than three decades reshaping how the city shops, eats and gathers, including launching the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse Farmers Markets to champion direct connections between producers and communities. Her legacy continues under the stewardship of daughter, Astrid Gates, through markets now synonymous with quality, integrity and atmosphere.

The launch of Jan Powers Farmers Markets - Eagle Farm marks a natural evolution of that vision, revitalising a landmark venue while expanding a market network that already includes the Brisbane Powerhouse Farmers Markets and Manly Harbour Markets, both of which continue to operate on Saturdays.
